Khan Academy is a nonprofit educational organization created in 2006 by educator Salman Khan with the goal of creating a suite of online tools that help educate students. Khan Academy is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization, largely funded by donations from philanthropic organizations. Criticism
Khan Academy is particularly criticized for Salman Khan having no formal background in pedagogy, or teaching. Statements made on some videos have been questioned because of their technical precision, especially in the area of ​​history. In response to these criticisms, the organization has corrected errors in its videos, expanded its faculty and established a network of more than 200 content experts. Others have presented data showing Khan videos are less effective than other publishers and that the chalk concept on the blackboard is less appealing to younger students than other video styles, such as cartoons.
