Milton Teagle " Richard " Simmons (born July 12, 1948) is an American fitness instructor, actor, and comedian. He promotes weight-loss programs, prominently through video Sweatin 'to the Oldies from aerobic videos and is known for his eccentric, flamboyant, and energetic personality.
Simmons began his weight loss career by opening a fitness center called Slimmons in Beverly Hills, California, serving overweight, and he became widely known through television exposure and through the popularity of his consumer products.
